Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Possess either:
- Five O’Level credits (GCE or SSCE), including English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Hold a Grade 5 or higher certificate in both Music Theory and Practical from:
- MUSON School of Music, or
- Another recognized music examination body such as ABRSM or Trinity College London.
- Applicants with exceptional practical ability but who do not fully meet the theory requirement may still be considered and may be required to complete remedial music theory during the programme.
Selection Process
Qualified applicants will undergo a competitive admission process, which includes:
- Music theory assessment
- Practical audition on their principal instrument or voice
- Final selection by the MUSON School of Music admissions panel.
