About the AFSC Global Voices for Peace Small Seed Grants
The Global Voices for Peace Small Seed Grants programme seeks to strengthen grassroots organisations that are building peaceful, inclusive, and democratic societies.
Rather than imposing external solutions, AFSC prioritises locally developed ideas that reflect the realities of the communities they serve. The programme aims to amplify local leadership while supporting practical projects that encourage dialogue, social cohesion, justice, and nonviolent action.
Approximately 10 organisations are expected to receive grants during this funding round.
Grant Value
Successful applicants will receive:
- Grant funding: US$10,000–US$15,000
- Around 10 grants will be awarded
- Funding supports project implementation, community engagement, and related programme activities.
Eligible Project Areas
AFSC encourages proposals that contribute to one or more of the following:
- Peacebuilding and conflict prevention
- Nonviolent action and advocacy
- Democracy and civic participation
- Human rights promotion
- Social justice initiatives
